The McCormack
family has been in the communications business for nearly a century.
Telephone pioneer B. W. McCormack began his career in 1910 and in
1921, founded Ellington Telephone Company (now Ellington Telecom),
one of Missouri’s few independent telephone utility corporations,
still owned by the McCormack family.
Today,
Ellington Telecom provides local telephone service, Internet access,
& long distance service through its network of Nortel digital and
VOIP switching centers— interconnecting customers across hundreds of
miles of underground cable facilities in the Missouri Ozarks.
In 1983, the company expanded and
created McCormack Networks and began marketing business
telecommunications and computer network products and services
outside
its five-exchange operating area. Over 25 years of competitive
communications equipment sales have earned McCormack Networks
recognition as a
leader in the
business!
